Automoto.ua

Honda City

Honda City 2018 Price List, Mileage, Review, Pics, Video, Interior

Honda was among the several foreign manufacturers to make inroads in India towards the end of 1990s. And while the Japanese auto giant has rolled out several models all this time, Honda City sedan been the most successful car which was first introduced in 1998. After receiving a generation change in 2014 and a facelift recently, the company is now planning to bring in an all-new City (new-generation) sometime in 2020. Considering that arch rivals Hyundai Verna recently saw a generation change and Matuti Ciaz facelift is also underway, it makes sense to give City a generation leap. Although, details on the new-gen model are yet obscure, the existing model is still quite popular and rakes in healthy monthly sales. The Honda City 2018 carline is currently available in both petrol and diesel engine options in manual and CVT variants priced in the range of Rs 8.58 lakh to Rs 13.62 lakh.

Honda had launched the updated City sedan in February 2017, which features cosmetic updates made in tandem with Honda’s new design tenet. The Honda City 2018 model gets better in visual terms, thanks to new honeycomb grille, revised bumper, LED headlights, fog lights and reworked taillights with LEDs. Inside, the sedan gets new 7-inch DIGIPAD touchscreen infotainment system with satellite turn-by-turn navigation and Mirror-Link support. Power source on the City carline include a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC oil burner. These engines get a choice between a 5-speed & 6-speed manuals along with a CVT with paddle shifters. One must note that automatic variants are offered only with petrol variants.
