Honda CBR1000 RR +Power Commander V

Power Commander.

Two Brothers.

Power Commander.

Вставьте фишку серого провода из разъёма PC5, в разъем TPS(датчик положения дроссельной заслонки).

Honda

[mood |worried]
[music |Rock DJ- Robbie Williams]
It had been days since he'd woken up wrapped in warm blankets with "KC" embroidered in bold shades of blue, and the old pang of regret and self loathing squelched down to a feeling of meer helplessness. He had thanked Mokuba for the talk and for a place to stay for the night before he took off on his motorcycle (while making sure to pass by a certain night guard several times). He'd talked to Mokuba daily after that encounter to see if there were any updates from Kaiba, while driving around town himself in his spare time with the hopes of spotting Anzu.

May 19th, nearly 10 pm, according to the cellphone that Honda had set on the nightstand beside him before he got into bed. Sighing to himself, he climbed into the sheets. Tomorrow was another day, he reminded himself as he folded the covers over himself. As he closed his eyes, strains of musical scales greeted his ears. Though odd for a moment, he remembered that is was the sound of the ringer on his cellphone. Rolling over, he grabbed the phone from his nightstand. A text message. He reconized the number right away; it was Shizuka. As he rubbed the sleep from his eyes, he tried to read the message. It took several minutes for it to sink in. "She found Anzu? But that means she's dealing with Zor..." It didn't take finishing the sentance for him to jump out of bed. Sounded like he'd be clubbing tonight.

[mood |depressed]
[music |Big Yellow Taxi]
There was a reason why Honda rode a motorcycle: there was no backseat. This self-revelation was made early in the morning while he lay on his back awake in his bed, his sheets tangled around his legs from his tossing. He hated this feeling of not being totally in control of a situation, of not knowing what to do, of not having the answers when it came to protecting his friends and the people he loved. "That's why there's no backseat in a motorcycle," he decided, "Because I'm in control of that beast of a machine. I don't need any backseat driver riding with me, giving me directions." But this was life, not a cycle, and he had not a single ounce of control over the situation. After all, he had no magic, and not a single asset that could help save the day. Maybe he was just adding to the problem, tagging around and weighing Yugi and the others down with his presence. Maybe they'd save Anzu better without him. He groaned at himself, and got out of bed. Quickly he put on his day clothing, and snatched up his helmet on his way out the door.

"Hope Kaiba's still awake." He mumbled to himself as he mounted his bike and started off to the Kaiba Mansion.

[mood |anxious]
[music |You Raise Me Up- Josh Groban]
When one is nervous, one is prone to go searching for comfort. Some find comfort in friends, others in books, and still others in sloth. Honda found comfort in a well stocked pantry in the Ishtar's kitchen. As he inspected a bright red apple for any bruises, he tried to push worries out of his mind for the moment. Not only was Anzu, a girl who had grown to become one of his closest friends, missing and in severe danger, but now Shizuka was insisting on going headlong into danger in order to find her. He couldn't let her get hurt too.

The sound of footsteps let him know that he wasn't alone anymore. Honda spun around, apple in hand just as the light turned on.

"Shizuka!" He said, relieved, while wondering why she was up so late at night. "Is something wrong?"

______________

Ice, and the cold, wet breath of death billowing down the back of his neck were what he associated with the shadows, what the shadows had become to him in the darkness that comprised the shadow realm. That and the blanketing darkness that drowned out every sound except for the ringing of his breath in his ears and the dull, hollow thud of his heart. He opened his mouth to shout out, but his throat was parched and dry, and his voice was a mere vapor feeding the pulsing, thriving darkness that surrounded him.

This was the Shadow Realm, or at least a live memory of it, a memory that lately, he found himself returning to every night. A feeling of foreboding had taken him over as of late, and had gotten worse in the days preceding Anzu's kidnapping. He hadn't planned on telling anyone, for fear of them thinking he was weak to have nightmares, but Shizuka had found out. On some nights, the only thing that he was able to use to pull himself from the nightmare was the feel of Shizuka stroking his hand and calling his name from his bedside.

Slowly, one arm reached out into the icy darkness, propelled against his will. He closed his eyes and sucked in one deep breath as he felt the air around him begin to move, slowly at first, but growing faster and faster. His eyes flew open as his last breath was ripped from his throat. This was it: the point where he usually woke up. Just a few more seconds of agony before freedom... he just needed to hold on... Muted shades of gray and violet swarmed across his vision as the winds blew wild, and then, a sudden calm. As he gasped for breath, a silhouetted figure walked through the fog into view. Though the face was obscured in shadows, it's piercing blue eyes stood out, dark and center-less as if the owner of those orbs had no soul. Amber strands of hair framed the figure's emotionless face.

"Anzu." Jounouchi breathed, "ANZU!" As he called her name, the darkness wrapped around her like a cloak.

"She's mine now." he heard a voice boom before the Shadow Realm nightmare finally let go of him and let him awake in a mass of sheets covered in his own cold sweat.

______________

Honda and Shizuka evidently both find comfort in the same things. Food, yes, but more than that, in each other. Smiling, Shizuka bit into a shiny red apple as Honda looked down at his own slightly bruised fruit.

"Of course, there's only one good apple in the whole batch." He thought to himself with some amusement. The echoing of footsteps across the floor announced another visitor into the kitchen. It was Jounouchi, supporting his tired body against the door frame.

"Jounouchi!" Honda exclaimed, scrambling to his side as Shizuka followed, "What's wrong, man? You look like you were ran over by a truck."

Jounouchi looked grimly down at his sister and back up at Honda. "We're going back to Japan."

OOC: I owe an apology to the girl who usually plays Jounochi. Like I said earler, I was supposed to post this last night, but time restrictions wouldn't allow it. If you think I've overstepped my boundaries, please tell me, and I'll remove this post immediately. With this post finished, Jounochi's yours. Nice to have you back!

Dark Bakura and Dark Malik, beware. Your asses are mine. And Kaiba's. And whomever else wants a piece of it when we get our hands on you, which we will.

I hate this. First they kidnapped Anzu, now Yugi. Damn, it's all my fault. If I would have been faster, I would have been able to have kept Dark Malik from taking him. I'm running to the city square as I post this entry with my cellphone. Everyone else had better be getting there too, or we're leaving without you. We need to save Yugi and Anzu, even if it means we'll need Kaiba's help.

Mokuba _is_ a Kaiba. [Apr. 13th, 2004|01:12 pm]

Honda

I keep forgetting that Mokuba has an evil streak in him. (Probably comes from living with Mr."I'm-a-jerk-and-I-know-it") So, in order to get my Ohagi I had to promise him that I'd take him and a friend somewhere today. I'm waiting for details. Whoever it is had either be A. not afraid of riding three people to one motorcycle or B. wanting to go somewhere close so we can walk.

All of this for some sweet rice balls. Best rice balls I've ever tasted, though. Guess I still owe you a big "Thanks", Mokuba. Now let's see if Jou ever comes by to pick his up... I'll only be able to wait for so long, you know.

But at least I'll be away from the telephone again. Which leads me back to why Otogi is a dead man.

So my phone rang a couple of days ago, and thinking it was someone I was waiting to talk to, I answered it. Turns out it was some old lady wanting me to babysit her kids. There was screaming and crying in the background, and the lady kept covering the receiver while she yelled at the kids to shut up. I asked her why the hell she was calling me, I don't babysit. Period. My last experience, well, we won't even go into that. The lady told me that she got my name and number from a flyer that was hanging up around town. After I hung up on the lady, I drove around trying to find one of these signs, and ended up finding one at the ice cream parlor I was with Serenity at. Underneath my name and number was a picture of a pair of red dice.

So I spent most of my day yesterday taking down as many of those posters as I could find, but evidently there's still some up because I'm getting calls.

Otogi, all I have to say to you is that revenge is sweet.

[music |Calling You- Blue October]
Yesterday was nice. I drove around town in the afternoon to get away from the telephone (More about that next entry. Otogi, I know what you did and you're dead). I went back to my house a couple of minutes before Mai dropped Shizuka off. After I managed to convince her that my motorcycle is completely safe, we went to a small ice cream parlor near the mall. Word to the wise, never try Wasabi ice cream, even if on a dare. (I'm glad Shizuka at least thought it was funny, having me eat it.)

It sounds like the girls had fun on their outing. They're holding out on the restroom information, though. I want details, ladies, details.

I'd better quit while I'm ahead, though. How was your all guys thing yesterday, Yugi? Sorry I couldn't make it.

Until later,Honda

New Journal [Apr. 11th, 2004|01:52 pm]

Honda

Yeah, so the glaring spelling mistakes in my old journal (commmaner_honda) caused me to get a new journal. I just know that it would have bothered me every time I used it if I kept that spelling error. But hey, I'll keep that journal up so my comments will still be there.

So, me and Shizuka are gonna hang out today after she's done with the whole "female bonding" thing. I've never got the appeal of that. I mean, what do they do during a girls only outing? Go together to the restroom? I mean, us men go in one at a time, but ladies, noooo, it's a whole gaggle. Jou and I snuck into a ladies bathroom at some fancy resturant and you know what? There were couches in there. Couches. Really. And candles, and baskets filled with magazines. The guys bathroom? Standard white paint with white urinals. See, we just go for the basics. But what was I talking about before? Oh yeah, Shizuka! So that'll be fun. Yugi wants to do something with just us manly men today too, so I guess I'll be busy.

Nice. There's a spell check thing at the bottom of the screen. I'm checking that little box before I put this in my journal.

Honda Power Commander Remaps

Honda CBR1000RR 2010

Nice bike nice power curve with 163 hp, but wait there's more... Power Commander V and custom map equals nearly 170 horse power. Sweeeeeeet!!

Honda Blackbird with single slipon muffler and KN air filter. Not much chop you'd have to say.

That is until it's been on our dyno to have a custom map made for it with PCV. Now look at it, almost 10 more hp and that flat spot at the bottom...... it's all gone.

This bike already has Staintune slip-on pipes and PCIII. We fitted a K&N air filter and mapped in a custom map. Not a huge improvement, however it's better right through the rev range and just shows that it's worth spending a few more dollars to make a custom map. The owner reported much better throttle response and mid range power.

Here's what happens when you do all the right things except for disconnecting the oxygen sensor. The ECU keeps adjusting the air fuel mixtures to maintain the preset figures it's programmed with.

You must disconnect the oxygen sensor when fitting a Power Commander unless the instructions tell you otherwise. If you have a look at the fuel mixtures you'll see what I mean.

The usual amount of time on the dyno was still required to make a new map for the Leo Vince race exhausts and KN filter, but worth every minute in terms of the gains to be had.

Hornet Remapped for Economy

Here's how to have your cake and eat it to. The nice thing about fuel injection is you can make two maps with a Power Commander - one for good economy on the road and another for those fun days at Phillip Island. All you do is keep them on file in your computer and load them onto the Power Commander when you need via a USB cable in less than a minute.
